A simple way of making visits to people with dementia more enjoyable

I am the daughter of a person with dementia and have been watching my mum’s cognitive decline for the last five years. ReelLife Conversations was created to support people just like me.

Designed with ‘lived experience’
Throughout my mum’s journey…

I discovered that one of the most powerful ways to connect with her was through our old family photos. In those moments of reminiscing, she seemed calmer—more at peace.

But there were challenges. Sometimes we’d get stuck on one photo, unable to move forward because of lack of recognition. It was even harder when I wasn’t there to help.

I created ReelLife Conversations to make those moments easier, richer, and more joyful.

Our simple app intelligently connects the dots—linking people, places, and memories to suggest meaningful conversation topics. It adapts to the needs of the person with dementia, ensuring that every time you use it, it can be engaging, without fear of failure.

A modern approach to dementia support

While many dementia-focused apps help track meals, medication, and safety—crucial elements of care—ReelLife Conversations allows caregivers to confidently move beyond the transactional visit to support a person that has dementia’s emotional wellbeing.

We’re focused on what often gets overlooked: companionship, and maintenance of self-esteem.

ReelLife Conversations is designed to support meaningful connection through family photographs. There are no tests, no pressure, and no right or wrong answers—just a gentle, guided way to reminisce and spark joyful conversation.
